Light Shenanigans Made Simple
Switching this torch on and off is a breeze—just fully press the Power Button. Once you're beaming, a half-press of the power button lets you cycle through four brightness levels, all nicely shown on the OLED screen. The EDC27 UHi is a clever torch; it remembers your last chosen brightness when you turn it back on. Want to zip through brightness settings? Use the Level Preset Function to find your sweet spot. For Ultralow mode, half-press the power button when the torch is off. For Turbo, half-press the mode button. Want to dazzle with Strobe? Give the mode button a full press. The EDC27 UHi is smart too—it has an updated Sensor Protection function that kicks in if you accidentally turn it on in High, Turbo, or Strobe modes, automatically dialing down the brightness to keep things cool. This only happens when you turn the torch on, so you’re good to go during regular use.
